Palestinian President Yasser Arafat will visit Morocco Monday to discuss the latest situation in the Occupied Territories with King Mohammed, said reports.

Arafat will discuss "Israeli escalation and aggression against the Palestinians" and ways in which his people can "face up to the Jewish state's get-tough policy," which has included deadly helicopter attacks on Palestinian fighters, said Arafat’s aide, Anabil Abu Rudaineh.

Arafat has met a number of Arab leaders in recent weeks to seek support for the Palestinian cause and, if possible, to hold an Arab summit on the 10-month crisis.

However, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said last Wednesday it was "illogical" to convene a pan-Arab summit "every time something happens" – Albawaba.com
