President Yasser Arafat has said that the Palestinian people are a strong nation that will not stop it's struggle for an independent state.
“You are forgetting that we, the Palestinian, are strong and we will continue our struggle until we achieve our independent state,” the president told CNN correspondent in Gaza.
Arafat will address his people soon, according to Al Jazira satellite channel, which added in another report that the president was transferred to “a safe place,” quoting Head of the Palestinian Preventive Security Mohammad Dahlan – (Several Sources)
