Arjaan Dubai Media City by Rotana “Clean-up the World”

Arjaan Dubai - Media City by Rotana has taken part in the "Clean up the World” 2009 supporting Dubai Municipality inventiveness of a four-day clean-up campaign forming Dubai’s largest voluntary environmental initiative to help reduce waste and raise public awareness.
The drive, in its 16th consecutive year, will take place in schools, mosques, beaches and lot of other public areas for the sake of creating awareness and aiming to encourage the individuals to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
“It is always our pleasure to support the Dubai Municipality and I would like to thank them for their brilliant initiative to create better environment” commented Kinan Al Ghraoui, the General Manager of Arjaan Dubai – Media City by Rotana.

The employees of Arjaan Dubai Media City has participated by wearing “Clean-up the World” shirts and caps and has cleaned the Jumeira beach. During the campaign, some of the municipality staff passed by to thank personally everyone who has committed and shared in this campaign. Mr. Yaakoub Al Ali, the campaign coordinator has stated the following: “We thank the private sector for their support for such environmental campaign where the backing of the society and the private sector to the municipality encourages us for more and more initiatives to protect Dubai environment. My special thanks are for Rotana which is considered unique in their support.”

Arjaan – Dubai Media City staff was very keen to participate in this campaign to serve, as a group, the society they live in especially with the fact that organizing such events is becoming much more important everyday.
