ALBAWABA - An armed attack targeting people inside a shop that sells medical products in Adana killed three people, local media reported on Monday.
The attack took place in Hacı Ömer Sabancı Boulevard in the Yeni Baraj Neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana City on Monday, according to Ekol TV.
A person, identified as T.A., carried out the armed attack inside the shop killing three workers; Özgür OE, 43, Fuat K., 64, and Oğuzhan S., 29.
The police arrived quickly at the scene and arrested the suspect T.A. and officers are searching for two others who were with him at the time of the attack.
The other suspects were identified as M.B.A. and K.E., who left after the attack took place and according to the local police they have records of different crimes.
The police said M.B.A. had a criminal record for possession of stimulants and narcotic drugs, while K.E. had a criminal record for fraud.
The suspect, 20, claimed that he committed the attack because his girlfriend was harassed inside the store that sells medical items.
