Syrian President, Bashar Assad, and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, discussed Tuesday night over the phone the latest developments in the Middle East, reported the official SANA news agency.
Both leaders discussed the current situation in the Palestinian territories and Israel’s attacks on the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, said the agency.
They also focussed on ways of strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries – Albawaba.com
