Syrian President Bashar Al Assad will pay a two-day visit to Germany on Tuesday in response to an official invitation by Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, reported the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA.
The talks will cover bilateral ties and the Middle East situation.
In addition to Schroeder, Assad will meet President Johannes Rau, Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer and other economic officials, said KUNA.
The Syrian president will also attend a seminar on the economic situation in his home country, said the agency - Albawaba.com
