Azerbaijan President Heydar Aliyev and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Iran, on Sunday paid tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini.
Aliyev and his accompanying delegation went to the Behesht-e-Zahra in Tehran to pay their respects to the Father of the Islamic Revolution. They laid a wreath on his mausoleum.
President Aliyev arrived in Iran on Saturday for a three-day official visit.
During his stay, he is expected to hold talks with senior Iranian authorities and conclude a number of protocols in various fields, according to IRNA.
The agreements, which are expected to be concluded during Aliyev's current visit will be in the areas of road and air transport, animal and plant quarantine as well as in trade, sports and customs requirements. (Albawaba.com)
