Bahrain’s Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa arrived in Amman on Tuesday for talks with Jordanian officials on bilateral ties, reported the Gulf Daily News.
Al Khalifa’s visit is “within the framework of distinguished ties linking the two countries and peoples and their keenness to further enhance these relations in various domains,” a statement said, cited by the paper.
Upon arrival, the crown prince underlined the importance of Jordan’s role and initiatives to create an Arab free trade zone, which he said would contribute in promoting the region as an investment center, according to the paper.
The crown prince will hold talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah and Crown Prince Hamza on “distinguished brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of boosting and developing them.” – Albawaba.com
