Bahrain on Tuesday welcomed US President George W. Bush's outline of his vision for a settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, saying it would contribute to peace efforts in the region.
A statement from the foreign ministry said, "the kingdom of Bahrain expresses its support for all efforts aimed at establishing an equitable and lasting peace in the Middle East."
At the same time, it expressed its willingness to contribute in coordination with the concerned parties, according to AFP. (Albawaba.com)
