The Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) was a major attraction for hundreds of visitors attending Property Arabia 2007, one of the region's leading property and investment exhibitions, which is being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center (BIEC) between 23rd and 26th May.
The four-day real estate event presented the perfect platform to showcase the dynamic BWTC project, a development set to offer some of the leading regional and international organisations with a world-class business address.
“We are pleased to take part in this successful industry event, Property Arabia 2007. We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the project from a vast number of local, regional and international companies looking for distinctive projects and properties such as the BWTC,” said Claire Hughes, Associate Director of DTZ, the managing and leasing agents for the BWTC. “The event also presents the ideal opportunity to highlight the development’s other facilities such MODA Mall, which is set to become the Kingdom’s first ultra high-end shopping centre, housing the largest and most exciting array of top luxury retailers.”
Visitors at Property Arabia 2007 were provided with an in-depth description of each area of the project as well as the numerous features and benefits, which set the BWTC apart and make it a landmark on a local, regional and international scale.
Situated on the Manama waterfront, the BWTC project comprises two 50-storey sail- shaped towers. The towers are the first of their kind in the world, using wind energy to provide approximately 11 – 15% of the electricity needs of the buildings. Wind power will be harnessed by three massive turbines, supported by bridges that span the distance between the two towers.
Tenants and visitors to the towers and adjoining shopping mall will benefit from the latest and most sophisticated SMART features, a host of business support services and other amenities including sophisticated and casual dining restaurants and cafes, healthcare facilities and sports club.
