Bangladesh to halt mobile internet shutdown

ALBAWABA - Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Bangladeshi Minister of State for Posts, Telecommunications, and IT, told reporters that the government will restore the country's mobile internet later on Sunday.

Days after a nationwide blackout was imposed in an attempt to control the unrest, Palak told reporters the network would be restored at 3:00 pm local time, following the restoration of fixed-line connections.
