Manama Bahrain: Batelco, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading mobile operator has announced major enhancements for its postpaid mobile subscribers. The rates for all postpaid packages will remain the same but the benefits have been enhanced to offer shared minutes and lower rates for video calls.
Currently, each postpaid package includes a number of free minutes for calls and SMS messages, with up to 2000 free minutes and up to 100 free SMS’s depending on the package. Now these free minutes can also be used for free voice and video calls.
For the first time in the Kingdom, customers can use their free minutes to make voice calls to any network in the Kingdom, which is great news for Batelco customers.
Additionally, Batelco has introduced lower rates for video calls from 40 fils per minute. Furthermore, any new customers who subscribe or upgrade to Batelco’s Freetime 2000 package service during August will receive 50% off their line rental for two months. The promotion will run until 31st of August 2008.
