Batelco CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Unit has selected two of its staff as Employees of the Year for 2006, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the department.
Batelco Chief Financial Officer Chris Gabriel presented Business System Analyst Shareefa Fadhel and Controller Costing Hasan Al Safaf with cash awards and plaques of appreciation at a recent ceremony held at Batelco Headquarters in Hamala.
"We are confident that the outstanding achievements and performances of Shareefa and Hasan will have a positive impact on the company’s overall operations and will certainly lead to better services offered to our customers”, said Mr. Gabriel .
“We praise their continuous efforts and dedication at work and look forward to their ongoing support in the future,” he added.
The CFO Unit recognises one staff member each month for their contribution to the Company. Five runner up winners, who were selected from the monthly winners, were also presented with cash awards by Mr. Gabriel. They are Fadhel Abbas, Ravi Kalyanasundaram, Homa Janahi, Dalal Sayyar and Abdelrasool Mubarak.
The Employee of the Year awards and Employee of the Month awards that different departments in Batelco adopt, aim to encourage employees to exert every possible effort to deliver the best services to customers.
