“By offering consumer’s customized K750i phones encrypted with features from The Da Vinci Code, Sony Ericsson makes the K750i even better. Combining imaging excellence with a rich suite of business, entertainment and communication features, the K750i is already the ideal companion for people with a busy working and social life but now users can have even more fun with it,” said Husni El-Assi, General Manager of Sony Ericsson, Middle East and Africa.
Sony Ericsson is also offering movie fans the chance to qualify for The Da Vinci Code Trail this summer in Paris by testing their code-solving skills on-line. The Da Vinci Code Trail will run until mid-June at www.sonyericsson.com/davincicodetrail, and challenge participants to solve six encrypted puzzles against the clock to see if they have what it takes to be invited to the next level - a trip to Paris for the ultimate mystery challenge using all the power of the most up-to-date Sony Ericsson phones in a real-life adventure
Finalists will spend four days in Paris, seeing the sights and visiting some of the famous locations from the Da Vinci Code. Sixteen finalists will be selected from five regions around the globe. All finalists will receive a Sony Ericsson mobile phone to keep a photo blog record of their stay in Paris. At the end of the week in Paris, participants will compete against each other in a special live Da Vinci Code trail treasure hunt around the city. The Grand Prize winner and their guest will receive a return ticket to London and two weeks of accommodation, with stays in Paris, Rome, London and New York, as well as entry to some of the world’s most famous museums.
A 2 Megapixel imaging phone, the K750i captures the sharpest, clearest pictures with superb colour reproduction for printing, sharing and viewing. Combining imaging excellence with a rich suite of business, entertainment and communication features, the K750 is the ideal companion for people with a busy working and social life.
Delivering fast, open connectivity and generous memory to store and share images, the K750i comes standard with features that are now common in stand alone digital cameras but new to mobile phones. This includes Autofocus, 4x digital zoom, red eye reduction and an intuitive user interface. The camera operates horizontally for stable, well-framed shots, and if used with the Sony Ericsson PhoneFlash MX-123, it is possible to take pictures in the dark from several meters away.
As with other model phones in the stylish and classic Sony Ericsson range, images can be shared with a host of other devices thanks to Memory Stick Duo, Bluetooth and Infrared. A USB cable also comes standard with the phone for fast transfer of pictures, video and music to and from a PC.
With the K750, there is no need to use a PC to print photos, as images can be sent wirelessly to a Bluetooth printer or transferred via Memory Stick to a compatible printer or a high street photo kiosk. In combination with the Bluetooth Media Centre MMV-200, the K750 can be used to view pictures and videos on a TV screen, easily sharing moments with friends and family in a fun and entertaining way.
Sony Ericsson's K750 stores a sizeable picture library with its plentiful and expandable memory. The phone features an internal 32MB memory that can hold nearly 100 full size pictures, and an external memory slot that accepts Memory Stick Duo up to 2GB, enough for more than 6,000 shots. A 64MB Memory Stick Duo is supplied with the phone.
The business tools Sony Ericsson has designed into the K750 make it the ideal working companion that will appeal to companies looking to provide their workforce with fully featured mobile phones that deliver fast rates of data and image transfer.
Meanwhile, away from the office the K750 provides fun and entertainment with fast and smooth games play via the 3D Java games engine. An integrated MP3 player and FM radio uphold Sony Ericsson's music focus, providing entertainment with great sound quality.
The K 750i Da Vinci Code special is now available at Jumbo, Axiom, and Citadel stores throughout the UAE.
