United Colors of Benetton hosted an unusual fashion show in the window of its recently opened Mall of the Emirates outlet to promote its new Christmas collection.
Benetton converted the flagship store’s window display area into an impromptu catwalk from 7:00pm to 9:00pm to show off three different ensembles from the festive range. Beautiful models showcased stylish designs from the new range and entertained shoppers throughout.
Increasing the drama from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, 104.8 FM’s DJ Moe broadcast his regular show live on air from the Benetton store.
“We’ve been conducting window fashion shows successfully for over a year now. The crowds love it and it’s a perfect way to show new collections to customers,” said Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, the sole distributor for Benetton in the UAE.
“Benetton is about fun and doing things differently. I’m sure our unique fashion show spread some cheer and got people thinking about Christmas shopping!”
Besides ‘live’ mannequins and great radio entertainment, Benetton customers also received special offers on purchases from the new collection.
Benetton’s Christmas collection is available at all outlets in the UAE: Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, and Jumeirah Centre in Dubai, and Abu Dhabi Mall in Abu Dhabi.
