BenQ fosters its notebook presence in the UAE
Digital lifestyle leader appoints BDL as premium distribution partner

Digital lifestyle solutions leader, BenQ Middle East, has moved into the next phase of consolidation by partnering with BDL, one of the leading IT distribution companies, to market and sell BenQ’s Joybook series in the UAE. The alliance will assist BenQ bolster its overall sales with the aim of registering a double digit growth by year end and positioning the company amongst the top five notebook brands in the country.

BenQ's aim is to take enjoyment to the next level with its new class of laptops offering enhanced design, functionality and convenience to consumers. BenQ anticipates growth in notebook sales across the entire MEA market will be over 40 per cent this year.

The regional spend on digital lifestyle products have shot up over the past two years with laptops garnering the lion's share. Despite being a new entrant in the notebook market the company has already unveiled four new models in the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets.

We are confident that this partnership will power BenQ to grow locally,” said Sunil Nair, General Manager, BDL, UAE.
 

 

 

During a recently held major launch event, BenQ unveiled the dual-display Joybook Q41, geared towards meeting all networking requirements of both the corporate and the younger generation of home users. BenQ will also launch the R43 and R45 with a 14.1-inch screen; X 31 and S 32W with 13.3-inch with LED technology and A53 and R56 with 15.4-inch in the coming months.

“Our strategy since inception has been that of multi-channel distribution. We are now looking at replicating our extremely robust and successful global distribution model with key channel partners in the region, which offer tremendous opportunities for IT product sales,” concluded Bakshi.
