The private Renewables Academy AG – RENAC offers tailormade courses on
photovoltaic applications in hot areas and provides German Engineering knowledge and experience in photovoltaic business development. The courses will be held in English and aim at engineers and technically skilled multipliers from Arabic countries.

More and more Arabic countries focus on using the richness of solar energy for
further energy supply. To do so, qualified staff and suitable conditions are the
major prerequisites for the further use of sunlight to generate power  – in this
case – photovoltaics.

The first Engineering Training is a two weeks course that will take place in Berlin,
Germany from the 16th until the 27th of June, 2008. Participants receive a detailed
knowledge on all components and learn to design, install and monitor grid connected
and offgrid photovoltaic systems.

The second training will be held from the 18th until the 29th of August, 2008, and
will in particular meet the expectations of decision makers, investors,
administration and developers. Participants get skilled in photovoltaic technology
as well as calculation, law, business development and favourable frameworks. Both
courses are offered for 5,200 Euro including VAT per person, which includes all
trainings, materials and transportation costs to excursion sites.

Also, for more deepened education an international master study program “Global
Production Engineering for Solar Technology (GPE Solar)” which takes two years
will train in production, engineering and business development  for engineers in the
field of solar thermal systems and photovoltaics. This solar master study  is
developed by the Renewables Academy AG in co-operation with the Technical University
(www.gpe-solar.de).
