Blast rocks a cafe in Russia's Voronezh city

ALBAWABA - Russian media outlets reported a blast in one of the cafes in the Russian city of Voronezh on Monday.

No official statement has been released yet regarding the explosion.

Some footage was shared on social media showing broken windows and glass outside the Central Asian-themed cafe as some police officers were also spotted at the scene to examine the reason behind the blast in the cafe in Voronezh.

Initial unconfirmed reports say that an "explosive device detonated in the cafe." According to NEXTA, a grenade was hit into the building of the cafe in Voronezh city.

A video was also posted on X (formerly Twitter) showing Russian authorities standing outside the cafe where the explosion took place causing panic among residents.
