bmw group middle east sales certification programme celebrates 5th graduation ceremony
26 graduates for 2007 and 117 in total over last five years
BMW Group Middle East has awarded 26 sales executives with official BMW Sales Certification at the 5th awards ceremony, held at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club on 1st November 2007. The BMW Sales Certification programme is designed to ensure all sales executives for BMW and MINI represent the premium values of the brands in their dealings with customers.
“The Middle East region was the first region worldwide to implement the BMW Sales Certification programme in 2003, and we have seen fantastic results over the last five years,” said Mr Roland Rahme, Training Manager, BMW Group Middle East.
“The programme sets a benchmark for customer service not only in the BMW world, but amongst competitors in the region as well, and we are proud to be leading the way.”
Three different certifications were awarded on the evening to the 26 graduates – BMW Certified Sales Executives, MINI Certified Sales Executives and Premium Selection Certified Sales Executives (Used Cars).
The BMW Sales Certification programme sets out to provide sales executives with a comprehensive understanding of the products and brands they represent, and includes a process of six training session modules. Each sales executive is required to pass all six sessions to qualify for the highly sought-after accreditation.
The objective of the BMW Sales Certification Programme is to ensure BMW’s brand reputation is upheld throughout the region, and all BMW Group Middle East sales executives are required to complete the course. The training process continues throughout their careers, as performance and achievements are continuously monitored to ensure theories learnt in the classroom are put into action in the showroom.
“Having Certified Sales Executives in our showrooms has led to a noticeable increase in customer satisfaction results over the five years the programme has been running,” continued Rahme.
