Bomb Explodes near Israeli Army Vehicles in Gaza, no Injuries

A roadside bomb was detonated Sunday near Israeli army vehicles near the Martyrs Junction in Gaza (known to Israelis as Netzarim), reported Haaretz newspaper, adding that there were no reports of injuries.  

The paper said that an exchange of fire was reported near the Jewish settlement of Neve Dekakalim in Gaza. There were no immediate reports of injuries, according to the paper. 

In the West Bank, the paper said that heavy fire was aimed at Israeli border policemen from a nearby school in Hawara village in Nablus.  

Meanwhile, The Jerusalem Post newspaper quoted the army radio as saying that a Jewish settler was injured by Palestinian gunmen while travelling between the settlements of Halamish and Neve Tzuf in northern Nablus. 

On Saturday, four Palestinians were killed and more than 60 others were injured during clashes with Israeli forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
