Brazil Remains Unbeaten in Women's Gold Cup

Brazil's Katia da Silva scored seven goals as the South Americans ripped Trinidad and Tobago 11-0 in Louisville, Kentucky Sunday to remain unbeaten at the inaugural Women's Gold Cup football tournament. 

Da Silva scored in the eighth, 18th, 24th, 45th, 55th, 66th and 90th minutes as Brazil matched the 11-0 rout the host United States inflicted upon Trinidad and Tobago in Friday's Group A openers at Hershey, Pennsylvania. 

Other Brazil goals came from Rosana in the 17th minute, Daniela Alves in the 24th, Cidinha in the 39th with a penalty kick and Monica in the 60th. 

Brazil and the unbeaten US team will play Tuesday for top seeding in Saturday's semifinals in Louisville - (AFP)
