A Brazilian economic delegation, headed by deputy minister of foreign affairs for economic and foreign trade, is to visit Iran in the near future, reported the official Iranian news Agency (IRNA).

The delegation consists of representatives from some 50 active companies in Brazil.

During their five-day stay (September 9-15) in Iran, members of the delegation are to meet with representatives from the country's private and public sectors and discuss issues concerning mutual cooperation in various fields including foodstuff, agriculture, industry, mines, machinery, construction, chemistry, petrochemicals, oil as well as investment opportunities in Iran's private and public sectors.

Iran-Brazil bilateral relations have increased significantly in recent years. They exchange some $700 million worth of goods annually.
