The Brazilian Timber Group, an umbrella organization consisting of Brazil’s best timber manufacturers, is looking towards consolidating its presence in the Middle East region with the rollout of its current line of high-grade quality timber products from Brazil. The launch is aimed at promoting the Brazilian Timber Group as an essential and reliable supplier of high-grade timber products for the MENA region. The group’s participation in the region’s premier wood-focused exhibition complements the positive outlook shared by Brazilian exporters towards the increased demand for quality timber products like doors, veneers, panels, mouldings, plywood and lumber.

The Brazilian Timber Group has launched its latest line of products with the focus of creating partnership opportunities with some of the region’s leading distributors, contractors, architects and industry specialists. The group’s Pine Mouldings products come from sustainable forests and can easily be installed in construction projects. Widely used in the US, Canada and the UK, these pine mouldings are priced competitively; replacing the more expensive mouldings previously used in housing and building projects.

The Group also launched 100 per cent vertical grain massive pine panels, which are completely made of pine and can be used for table tops, wall panels and furniture applications. In addition, leading exporters showcased film faced plywood, produced from selected pine veneer core and specially designed and engineered doors with white finishing or natural veneer finishing and which come with accompanying doorframes for easy installation.

“All roads lead to this year’s Dubai WoodShow 2010, which acts as the largest platform for timber and wood based products - allowing us also the most opportune time to launch our current line of high grade Brazilian timber products like doors, veneers, mouldings and lumber,” said Gustavo Milazzo, Director, Brazilian Timber Group. “Our participation in this year’s event not only reflects our strong confidence in the Middle East market but also demonstrates our continued commitment to promote the Brazilian Timber Group as an able and ready supplier of high quality timber products.”
