ALBAWABA – A fire broke out in the gas refinery inside of the Al-Ahmadi port in Kuwait as reported locally and on social media.
According to several sources, an explosion was followed by a huge blaze that has been visible to people in the surrounding towns around the port in Kuwait City. So far, a few mild injures have been reported including several cases of suffocation.

Officials at Kuwait National Petroleum Company told Sky News Arabia the fire which is expected to be contained in a few hours was a result of a gas leak.
