Breaking: Reports of Economic Protests in Tehran

There are reports of economic protests in the Charsou bazaar district of Tehran, as the US dollar trades at 9,000 to the Iranian Toman. 

An unverified video dated from today, appears to show protestors chanting and heading toward the protest area.

Following the Trump administrations reversal of the Iranian nuclear deal on May 8th 2018, the economic situation in Iran has deteroriated. Key business contracts with Europe have been left in limbo. Planned US Sanctions are expected to be implemented on Iran, in August.

According to reports, the protests in Tehran are the largest since 2012, a time when the previous sanctions regime was already crippling the country.
