Britney Spears ignores cruel jibes about her alleged breast
implants and criticism of her hairstyle; but she feels hurt when
she is accused of miming.
The singing sensation has sold millions worldwide thanks to hits
like Baby One More Time and Oops!… I Did It Again.
But the 18-year-old has struggled to ignore critics who claim she
has had breast implants and that she lip-synced her way through an
American tour earlier this year.
Spears says, "the worst thing was that people actually believed
I would have a breast implant. In the end I decided not to care
what people said about my hair or my looks, but when they start in
about my performance that is when it hurts."
And when critics started to refer to Spears' music as "bubble gum
pop" the star turned to her fans for comfort.
She adds, "every night I look out into the audience and it is
just a surreal moment.
"I am like, 'Oh my gosh all these people are here for me,' and it
is so unbelievable” – Wenn.
