The event, which will run from May 17, 2010 to May 19, 2010 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), allows Brother Gulf the opportunity to showcase its latest line of reliable labelling solutions like the PT-7600, a professional portable labelling machine dedicated to meet labelling print requirements for telecom networking and electrical applications. Creating custom labels using P-touch labelling machines and durable labels offers four key benefits to electricians, cable installers and others in the professional trade – professional installation, ease of maintenance, ease of operation, safety. As Brother’s flagship professional portable labelling machine, the PT-7600 incorporates built-in label formats that serve electrical industry applications including normal, port, panel, cable, rotate, rotate and repeat, and vertical. It can also upload database and label designs using USB interface, print barcode, electrical, audio and video symbols, and accept 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 24mm TZ tapes. Designed for maximum durability, PT-7600 also boasts of a backlit LCD display, rechargeable battery and automatic numbering.

In addition to the PT-7600, Brother will also showcase three other models under its professional labelling machine range. This includes the PT-9700PC and PT-9800PCN (new network model), which both accept 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, 24mm and 36 mm TZ tapes and capable of database and barcode printing, in addition to a host of shared key features such as automatic cutter (full and half cut), USB and RS-232 interfaces, print speeds up to 20mm/second using TZ tape and up to 80mm/second using HG tape, print quality of up to 360 x 720 dpi, built-in memory 2 MB (for stand alone barcode template printing) and distributed printing. However, the new network model incorporates additional connectivity features such as network readiness, host USB, and an 8 MB built in memory (for stand alone barcode template printing). The PC-connectable PT-2700AR is the only model in the market with Arabic, English and Persian interface and keyboard, and can print up to seven lines, support nine types of barcodes and feature a total of six fonts, 11 type styles, 22 frame styles and 123 symbols.
