ALBAWABA - At least six people, including three children, have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on a crowded beach area near the Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said Monday.

The strike injured another 40 people, 17 of whom were taken to the hospital, Kondratyev added.

RT reported that the drone attack caused damage to infrastructure. He described the attack as targeting civilian sites after debris from the drone crashed in the resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka.

Kondratyev labeled the attack as a "tragedy" and added it deliberately targeted civilians.

"The attack was carried out against civilian infrastructure. Emergency and specialized services are working at the sites where the debris fell," he posted via Telegram.
