Seven people have been killed and more than 20 injured after a Lebanese bus exploded in Damascus, AFP reported.
The blast happened in the central district of Souq al-Hamadiyeh in the Syrian capital, according to the monitoring group UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The bus had a Lebanese number plate and was transporting Lebanese Shia pilgrims visiting religious sites in the country.
A source in the Ministry of Interior stated that the explosion the explosion was part of a pre-meditated attack. He also added that the number of dead and wounded will probably increase.
