Business Excellence Center (BEC), the consulting arm of Dubai World, has announced that it will provide support and consultancy to Palm Utilities, the fully-owned subsidiary of Istithmar World, for the implementation of the Integrated Management System, which is compliant with and certified by ISO: 9000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

It is vital for any business to lay down a management system that can be continuously improved in accordance with the highest operational standards in order to achieve business excellence.”
He noted that during the implementation of the system, it is vital to follow the working patterns at Palm Utilities, Palm Water and Palm District Cooling and observe the performance indicators, as well as the quality of operational documentation adopted by these companies.

BEC will work with Palm Utilities to implement the project in four stages: Determination of requirements and detailed planning, designing of the management system, planning its execution and finally, reviewing and providing business support.
