Two thirds of businesses in the UAE see implementing eCommerce and ePayments solutions as important to their strategy as markets claw their way back of the recession, according to a survey conducted by Terrapinn, organizer of The Internet Show.
Over 800 businesses in the UAE were asked how they are currently dealing with internet business issues and the challenges they face now and in the future.
This is what they said.
A staggering 86.5% of businesses in the Middle East consider Digital Advertising and Marketing very important (47.2%) or important (39.3%) when asked about strategies for their business.
58.1% of businesses see Web 2.0 and Social Networking as ‘important’ or ‘very important’ when asked about priorities for their business.
73.9% see high quality hosting and Infrastructure solutions as ‘important’ when asked about the priorities for their business.
77.9% see the use of content management and streaming as part of their future online strategy when asked about priorities for their business.
42.2% are dissatisfied with the levels of customer service from the companies that enable them to utilize the power of the internet for their business.
Web Content Management Solutions is one of the largest concerns of Enterprise, Government and SMB’s in the UAE who are looking at taking their first steps toward their digital strategy.
