Cadillac is screening a collection of black and white films every Monday in November at the Jam Jar venue in Dubai. After its much applauded screenings in February of this year, the film nights return for the entire month to pay tribute to innovation in black and white cinema.
Cadillac, who has long been a supporter of the Arts on a local and regional scale, is inviting the Dubai’s artistic community and movie lovers to come down and enjoy screenings of films that cross genres of narrative, documentary, and experimental filmmaking in a relaxed atmosphere in glorious monochrome.
On Monday, 2nd of November 2009, the film showing will be a monumental exercise in cinema stylistics: “I Am Cuba”. The movie, a piece of Soviet propaganda that was the result of fraternity between Cuba and the USSR following the revolution, will be screened at 7:30 pm.
