ALBAWABA - In Antalya's Döşemealtı district, a Fiat Tofaş car split in half after colliding with a light pole, leaving the driver injured and requiring hospital treatment. The incident took place around 2 p.m. on Atatürk Avenue in the Yeniköy neighborhood.
According to initial reports, the driver, identified as Mustafa T., lost control of the vehicle on the wet road. The Tofaş car, bearing license plate 07 AOU 894, skidded and violently struck a roadside light pole, causing the car to split into two parts. The pole then collapsed onto the vehicle, injuring the driver.
Upon receiving calls from witnesses, emergency medical teams and police arrived promptly at the scene. Medical personnel provided immediate assistance to the driver before transporting him by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The accident highlights the dangers of driving in rainy conditions, with authorities reminding drivers to exercise caution in adverse weather.
