The “Career UAE 2001” employment fair that took place this week has shown immediate success. Attended by dozens of participating organizations and thousands of nationals, the fair generated hundreds of job applications immediately, and was a showcase for the government’s Emiratisation process.
Careers UAE 2001 was organized by the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) in association with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) and The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (TANMIA). The fair was held throughout the week at Airport Expo Dubai.
Over 60 participating organizations attended the four-day-long fair, and reported favorable interest from thousands of prospective candidates. Government departments also attended as potential employers, and they too were the focus of prospective candidates. Hundreds of applications have already been initiated as a result of the fair.
The success of this year’s career fair, only the second one ever held, is another step forward in the process of bringing more of the Emirate’s talented young people into the work cycle.
