UTS Carrier, a Carrier joint venture company, recently hosted its retailers meet with a dinner function in Dubai for their UAE network. The event, held at the Le Meridien Airport Hotel, was attended by over 170 Carrier retailers and partners.
“This was the first event we organised at such a large-scale bringing all our retailers together on one platform to renew our focus on our retail network. It was also to felicitate them on their achievements and motivate them for further excellence,” said Imad Richani, Business Unit Manager UAE, UTS Carrier.
Retailers were awarded gold and silver certificates for excellence in sales performance and all retailers received certificates of appreciation for their contribution to the growth of Carrier in the UAE. Mr. Richani highlighted the benefits of the new incentive program to reward the retailers for their efforts in making Carrier the preferred brand of customers.
“The Middle East is one of the fastest growing markets for us and we want to be the preferred choice of our customers for air conditioning solutions. Updating our retailers of our product offering and after-sales service are key elements of the developmental plan,” added Mr. Richani.

The event’s importance was underpinned by the presence of Carrier’s Saudi manufacturing arm, SAMCO, who reinforced Carrier’s commitment to the region. “It is very important to bolster our retailers confidence which ultimately results in end-users trust in Carrier as a reliable air conditioning manufacturer,” said Hassan Bahsoun, General Manager, Saudi Airconditioning Mfg. Co. Ltd. (SAMCO).
A major highlight of the event was the introduction of Carrier’s new air conditioners launched in the UAE, G3 Global Series window AC and Xpression the new Hi-wall Health Plus split AC. The product presentations were made by Imad Richani and SAMCO’s Marketing Manager, Emad Zakaria.
