CARVEL, a world famous maker of delicious Ice Cream, announced it’s Golden Sponsorship of the Jordan Rally, on May 10th 2007 at the Dead Sea. CARVEL’s sponsorship of this event is arranged in cooperation with the brand’s exclusive agent in Jordan, Jana Restaurant Management (a member of Tantash Group).
The Jordan Rally comes as an integral part of the leading round of the FIA Middle East Championships, and this year the event is to feature the participation of several world champions in the motoring sport including, French World Champion Sebastian Loeb, and runner up Marcus Ghonholmn from Finland.
CARVEL’s sponsorship to the rally shall be through showcasing a selection of CARVEL’s latest ice cream products to the attendees and contestants from CARVEL’s stands which will be set up in 2 locations on the Rally’s premises.
Commenting on CARVEL’s sponsorship of the Rally, Mr. Essam Farahat the Operations Manager of CARVEL Jordan said, ”We at CARVEL Jordan are proud to be sponsoring the Jordan Rally, for this event has captured our attention due to the great level of popularity it has witnessed from different sectors within our community.
We at CARVEL support many initiatives that help place Jordan on the world map of sports, and this event in particular holds a great detail of importance for regional and international audiences alike. I am sure that our expanding product line of tasty ice cream products will help add more excitement to the event, for through our ice cream stands we will be able to satisfy the different tastes of spectators present.
Mr. Farahat further added that CARVEL strives to introduce all sectors of the community to the ice cream products it offers. “The sponsorship of this particular event comes in line with our promotional strategy, for CARVEL ICE Cream sure to add a different flare to this event, especially since they come with a distinctive tastes and a unique variety of flavors. Although we had just launched our operations in Jordan at the start of this year, we are however looking forward to reaping further successes in the years to come” he said.
It is important to note that, CARVEL ice creams are available at the CARVEL Ice Cream store located in the Gateway mall in Suwaifiyeh, and in its second store located at City Mall. Plans are currently underway to launch more of CARVEL’s outlets in Amman and the Kingdom at large.
