Prosecutor’s office of central Russia’s Penza Region has started a criminal case after registering a case of cannibalism.

According to Interfax news agency, chief investigator of the department reported on Thursday that it had been established that a 46-year-old woman, a local resident, strangled to death her female acquaintance after a drunken row on December 15. In the presence of other people she then cut the corpse open with a knife, took the heart and the liver and carried the organs home in a plastic bag. At home she ate the human organs together with her boyfriend.

During questioning, she had confessed to killing and eating cats and dogs as well as having a wish to taste human flesh. (Albawaba.com)
