Hasina Sher Jan, Chairwoman of Free Afghanistan Women, has praised Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, UAE President's wife and Chairwoman of the UAE Women's Association, for her generous assistance extended to Afghanistan's widows, orphans and handicapped.
In the course of a meeting with Sanaa Al Kutbi, Secretary General of the UAE Red Crescent Society, Jan stated that Sheikha Fatima's charitable self had left a great impression on Afghani people, according to Gulf News.
She hailed the ongoing campaigns of the UAE Red Crescent Society for the sake of the Afghan people, especially for the projects regarding the rehabilitation of women.
Sanaa briefed the guest on the activities of the society and the efforts it exerted in securing essential needs for the people of Afghanistan. (Albawaba.com)
