China on Tuesday renewed support for Yasser Arafat and said that the Palestinian leader is an integral member of the peace process and of any peace settlement, the official Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign affairs ministry as saying.
It added that Beijing is very concerned with Middle East issues and is an avid supporter of the international community peace efforts, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
China condemned all forms of violence and called upon the Israelis and Palestinians to end the "vicious circle of violence," the spokesperson said. (Albawaba.com)
