Commander in-Chief of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense First Lt.-General Moustafa Tlass received on Tuesday Deputy Chief of the Chinese General Staff Woo Chiwi and his accompanying delegation.
Chief of Staff, Lt.-General Hassan Tourkmani also received the visiting Chinese delegation, according to SANA.
Discussions during the meeting focused on regional developments in general, and especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the repercussions of the Israeli “hostile escalations on the security in the region and world peace”, SANA added.
Furthermore, talks between the two sides dealt with the existing bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation between the armies of Damascus and Beijing. (Albawaba.com)
