Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Saturday discussed the Middle East peace process with his French counterpart Jacques Chirac, the Egyptian MENA news agency reported.
Mubarak and Chirac "reviewed the situation in the Middle East in light of the hiatus of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, and had an exchange of views on ideas around the subject," MENA said.
The Israeli-Palestinian negotiations have been held up over the question of Jerusalem and the holy sites since the failure of the Camp David summit July 25 -- CAIRO (AFP)
