Christina Aguilera and Sisqo have joined the list of performers appearing at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, the network announced today, according to ABC online.
Both performers are also nominated for five Video Music Awards.
They join a lineup of scheduled performances by ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, Eminem, Janet Jackson, Blink-182, Rage Against the Machine, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and DMX.
The network also unveiled a slew of new names set to present awards: Jennifer Lopez, Macy Gray, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Jakob Dylan of the Wallflowers, Robert De Niro, Moby, LL Cool J, Pink, Ben Stiller, music-comedy duo Tenacious D, and Bono and Larry Mullen of U2.
Previously announced presenters include Lil' Kim, 98 Degrees, Destiny's Child, Dr. Dre, Eve, Chris Rock, Snoop Dogg, Sting, wrestling star The Rock, Metallica's Lars Ulrich, Survivor winner Richard Hatch, Ricky Martin, and Nelly.
The 17th annual MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by two Wayans brothers, Shawn and Marlon, will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Thursday, Sept. 7-Albawaba.com.
