Under the Patronage of HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Faouri Trading Company, Jordan’s exclusive dealer for Citroen, Isuzu, BP and Yamaha, hosted at its Citroen showroom in Amman, WRC Champions and Citroen Total World Rally Team official drivers Sebastien Loeb, Daniel Elena, Dani Sordo and Marc Marti. This informal gathering was held on April 23, 2008, a day before the launch of the first WRC event in Jordan and the Middle East, which in turn will be hosted Under the Patronage of HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein between April 24th and April 27th 2008 at the Dead Sea.
The event was attended by several prominent figures from the community including, key players working in the sports field, representatives from the media and WRC champions from around the globe.
French Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb is the four-time winner of the World Rally Driver’s Championship title. Loeb has one of the highest records of WRC wins and is one of the most successful rally champions in history. He is also the two-time winner of the Race of Champions, and in this year’s edition of the WRC, he will be driving a Citroen C4.
Spanish rally champion Dani Sordo began motoring at the age of 12. From the year 2005 onwards, the rally champion committed to only participate in races driving Citroen vehicles. In 2005, he drove a Citroen C2 and in the 2008 edition of the WRC and other such championships, he will be participating with the Citroen Total Rally Team also driving a Citroen C4 .
Mr. Fayez Faouri, Board Chairman of Faouri Trading Group used this event as an occasion to HRH Prince Faisal bin al Hussein and he also thanked him for his patronage of the event’s proceedings and the WRC Jordan Rally at large.

It is important to note that C4’s exterior styling contributes to an aerodynamic efficiency, whilst its two petrol and two advanced direct injection diesel engines power an environmentally friendly journey. The car is built to absorb energy in a collision; the vehicle ensures a safe ride: Three point seat belts are available on all seats. This model also comes with seven airbags, alongside other iconic features.
