Christmas came early to The City Hospital this year, as more than 40 jolly Santas visited patients throughout the hospital, offering peace and seasonal goodwill, and presenting young patients with Christmas gifts. The Santa Claus team arrived at the hospital as part of a “Santa Goodwill Tour” programme, which arranges for Americans to travel to cities worldwide in late November and early December on a goodwill mission of love.

David Hadley, Hospital Director at The City Hospital commented: “This time of year is all about happiness and joy, and the arrival of Santa Claus always brings smiles to faces both young and old. We are thrilled that the tour came to The City Hospital, to cheer patients up during their recovery and to signal the start of the holiday season.”

The Santa Goodwill Tour has been operating since 1985 and has been to over 30 cities worldwide.
