Clarendon Parker Arabia (CPA), part of the leading international staffing solutions provider Clarendon Parker and a subsidiary of global employment services provider Manpower, has announced that it will showcase its specialized IT, telecom and technology staffing services at GITEX Saudi Arabia, the 8th International IT Exhibition for the Kingdom running from April 19 to 23, 2009 at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center.
CPA will be exhibiting in Hall 2, stand number B454, and will be offering companies advice and guidance on staffing strategies and services that can assist Saudi Arabia in maintaining its 40 per cent share of the Middle East’s computer and IT application sales, which is currently worth almost USD 5 billion. The company has more than four years’ experience in the Kingdom and is gaining prominence for delivering innovative, flexible staffing solutions to the IT and telecommunications sectors. CPA is licensed by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and has formed productive partnerships with both local and multinational organizations operating in the KSA.
“The current global economic downturn and the various operational complications it has opened up place increased pressure on domestic and regional organizations to acquire the right people for the right job. Add a local talent shortage that was predicted during the start of the fourth quarter of 2008 and you have an even more challenging environment, especially for the highly competitive technology and telecoms sectors. Through GITEX Saudi Arabia we want to assure companies that there are effective and viable alternatives they can adopt which we fully support,” said Patrick Luby, Managing Director, Clarendon Parker Arabia.
In September 2008, the National Recruitment Committee for the Saudi Council of Chambers of Commerce expressed concerns over the lack of skilled labour in several key sectors. The emergence of the global financial crisis further reduced the national and regional expatriate workforce, many of whom played major roles in technology projects and programmes. Through its experienced support team of client delivery managers, government relations staff, Saudi national and expatriate sourcing specialists, plus HR support, finance and payroll, CPA aims to provide the Kingdom’s IT, telecom and technology fields with high quality, fully compliant solutions to their staffing needs.
GITEX Saudi Arabia is the local version of the renowned GITEX exhibition, one of the world’s premier IT technology shows. The 2009 edition will be co-organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. The event is expected to gather more than 400 prominent technology firms from 15 countries.
Clarendon Parker Arabia has been delivering highly-qualified technical and non-technical resources into KSA for over four years. The company is proficient in all areas of build and support and has a thorough understanding of the infrastructure of domestic IT and telecommunication networks.
