Clinton Praises UAE

Former United States President Bill Clinton arrived in Dubai last week to attend a charity gala dinner, which was hosted by a local organization to help underprivileged children.  

 

General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defense Minister, received Clinton during his visit in Dubai, according to Khaleej Times

 

The two reviewed cooperation between the UAE and the U.S. in all realms and exchanged views on the current international situation, specifically on means of fighting terrorism and strengthening security and stability in the world and the region. 

 

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton praised the UAE for its advanced economy and for its role in promoting peace and helping other nations. 

 

Dr. Khalifa Mohammed Ahmed, Director of the Dubai Ruler’s Court, and other senior officials also attended the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
