The 66th conference of boycotting Israel stressed in Damascus Tuesday that the economic boycott of Israel and its widening is considered to be a means of deterring aggression and strengthening security and peace throughout the entire world.
The communiqué issued by the conference asserted the rejection of threatening policy to direct a military attack against Baghdad, especially following its response to return international inspectors.
In addition, the communiqué highlighted the need to activate the Islamic boycott in implementation of the resolutions of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) held in Khartoum, the official Syrian Arab news agency reported.
Moreover, it stressed that activating the Arab and Islamic boycott against Israel is considered to be one of the means of standing by the Palestinian people and Intifada to realize victory, return to their home, and to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimate resolutions and to liberate the occupied Golan Heights and occupied Lebanese territories.
