Continuing to cover the lives of 45 Arab businessmen
Khuloud Al Omian, Editorial Manager for Forbes Arabia
Forbes Arabia, the Arabic edition of Forbes magazine, announced appointing Jordanian journalist, Khuloud Al Omian, in the Editorial Manager.
Bud Keegan, General Manager, DIT Publishing, met the decision with high approval, describing it as a quantum leap towards the modernization of the editorial processes in the magazine, given Khuloud Al Omian’s diverse media experience, including print, audio and video editorial management.
Khuloud Al Omian, Editorial Manager, expressed her delight at taking on this position, stressing that the high credibility the magazine enjoys in the Arab world, in addition to a clear and profound vision of the economic reality. She vowed to spare no effort in developing the magazine and maintaining its leadership at both Arab and global levels. She continued that the magazine vowed to harness Arab experiences to serve Arab readers and satisfy their diverse need to bring about real and clear change through the media and the free word of Forbes Arabia.
It is worth noting that Khuloud Al Omian joined the editorial team at Forbes Arabia in September of 2006 as chief reporter, before assuming her position as editor in 2007. She has written over 45 articles for the magazine covering business leaders in the region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt).
It is also worth noting that the editorial team at Forbes International U.S made their decision to promote Al Omian to the Editorial Manager position for Forbes Arabia based on their belief in her ability to manage the magazine’s team, and her ability to develop her own instruments for successful editorial management and team leadership towards raising the technical and journalistic standards of the magazine. Al Omian possesses an intellectual and clear vision of trends and economic issues, locally and internationally, supported by an exceptional style that is both intelligent and daring.
