Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Jordan Football Association (JFA), and Jordan River Foundation (JRF) recently signed a cooperation and partnership agreement to build a pentagonal football playground on a piece of land in Al Naser district.

JFA and the Norway Football Federation (NFF), in cooperation with JRF, previously agreed on building the playground with full support from NFF for sports and society service purposes in one of the public areas for youth and children categories.

In response to JFA and JRF's request that GAM allocate a piece of land for setting up a playground, a field survey team consisting of representatives of GAM, Madrasati initiative, and JFA selected the piece of land in Al Naser district to be a football playground, and it will be managed by Queen Rania Family & Child Center of JRF.

The agreement was signed by City Deputy Manager for Cultural, Social, and Sports Affairs, Eng. Haitham Jweinat, on behalf of Mayor of Amman, Omar Maani, and Secretary-General of JFA, Khalil Al Salem, and Head of JRF Valentina Qseisieh.
