ALBAWABA - The royal red motorcade of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II and his bride Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein departed from Zahran Palace towards Al-Husseiniya Palace after the completion of their wedding ceremony.
The royal red motorcade is slated to traverse different streets of the Jordanian capital, Amman, allowing thousands of Jordanians to partake in the celebration.
Circulating photos and videos showed Crown Prince and his bride greeting the citizens, who were waiting for them in the streets, while standing in their convertible vintage white Range Rover, in an atmosphere filled with joy.
During the procession, some people wearing green, white and black surrounded the royal red motorcade and formed the Jordanian flag. Photos of this scene were widely circulated on social media and praised by its users.
The procession began with songs of the Jordanian Armed Forces Band, and motorcycles were surrounding the newlyweds too.
It is noteworthy that some streets of the capital are currently closed due to the procession and the presence of tens of thousands of citizens in the streets to celebrate.
The newlyweds are heading to Al-Husseiniya Palace for a reception that will be attended by dignitaries and heads of Arab and foreign states.
